Ameritas Halloween

I am not sure if I have updated everyone, but I took a promotion within Ameritas and my office is now at the home office on O street.  The job is within the sales development team, and even though it has been an adjustment, I am finally starting to really enjoy it.  I have already learned so much, and know that I have a lot more I can learn which is really exciting for me.  It was one of the hardest things (I took three days to make the decision) for me to leave Fallbrook with the job I loved, all of my friends, and leaving the daycare my kids and I had loved for 4 years.  But I have learned one thing in life and that sometimes you have to take chances if you want to grow.  Luckily I think this was a great decision for me personally and professionaly.  Because not only do I still keep in touch with my old team, I have gained new friends and a whole new look on the Ameritas business.  PLUS Home office knows how to do Halloween like Fallbrook does...so I didnt have to miss out on that :)!

Remember when I mentioned we have a few sets of friends that love being around our kids.  Well these are one of them too...However, I think we may be providing a free service to all these said friends.  Birth control.  Our kids our "spirited" :) and have a lot of energy.  Im not sure everyone could keep up with them.  They wear me out on a daily basis, but I love them anyways :)!  On this particular night they would not go to bed, and Cade even managed to do something he never does.  BITE Ryans toe.  So wierd and so random. 

This is why I love them so much, look how happy Cade is :)!

Pumpkin Patch with the Wiigs

Last weekend we decided to pack the car up and head over to the pumpkin patch close to Raymond.  It was the perfect day and the kids had a blast!!

 Cade is way to brave, he just climbed up the hay alone and went right down the slide.

Weekend Recap

We had a really nice weekend this past weekend, but I dont have too many pictures to show for it!  So instead I will just speak about it :)

Friday while in Omaha (getting my hair done...which is the best way to start a weekend) I got a text from Jodi wanting to do something that night.  Not thinking she would want to spend an evening with myself and the kids...I told her we didnt have a babysitter.  Luckily, shes one of my kidless friends who likes to be around my kids :)! so we planned on them just coming over for dinner.  (Disclaimer:  we have a lot of great kidless friends - who love being around kids).  Anyhow, it was a great night just sitting around munching on chinese takeout, playing with the kids (mostly Cade...Camdyn pooped out early), and talking. 

Then Saturday, Kyle did his typical golf in the morning stint and then we headed to my parents house to watch the game.  It was the first game I actually got to sit down and watch (as opposed to hosting a football party at our house).  It was nice to just relax and watch the huskers play! 

Sunday was a fun day, I took off in the morning/afternoon for some retail therapy with my mom!  I got quite a few new shirts (which I desperatly need) and a few Christmas gifts for the kids.  Then we headed out to the JK pumpkin patch (close to Raymond) and played in the bounce house, slides, pet the goats and took a hayrack ride to pick out our pumpkin.  The kids had a blast, although they were so confused that it was a pumpkin patch after going to Valas the weekend before :)!  So funny!!

All in all it was a great weekend!!  Relaxing and fun!
