Cade and Grandpa!

Now this is new for me.  Women the same age as me living on our street!!  The real housewives of Docs Drive.  Angie, Steph, Jessica and myself.  The girls are so much fun, and so far we have had a few nights of just sitting in the driveway talking.  I love it!!  We feel really lucky to have found a neighborhood like this!

Jessica and I.  photo taken by Ryan Elrod (Anderson Studios) who clearly knows something about taking pictures because this is a photo at 2:30 in the am and its not too shabby.  The angle of the shot is impressive, Jessica and I were both pleased with the keepability of it :)!  Obviously a lot is left to be desired with my hair, but hey its better then some other photos that did not make the cut :)!

2nd of July from our driveway

There were plenty of fireworks to watch from our driveway so we sat on the tailgate, redneck style, and watched.  Here is a good shot of Kyle and Cade!

It started to sprinkle so of course miss diva herself had to have an umbrella :)!

Me and the kids.

Yes this really did happen, I did not encourage either boy to pose like this.  so cute!

Living Room progress

I finally got a piece of art up.  Unfortunatly I still need a piece of furniture (some kind of big cabinet/bookshelves) to put to the left of the art to fill that space, so it looks a little bare.  In time.

I also got a new rug so our furniture stops sliding around.  It was a bit annoying.  Now I need some color.  Im thinking lime green cylinder pillows to put on the white chairs and perhaps some other colors to have some pops to look at!
Another angle.

Wine night with Jessica

Best way to start out a week!  Your next door neighbor, a glass of wine and good conversation!

Camdyn considered it her time to have a pajama party with Jessica...she loves her!!

Harpo was welcome over too, he had a seat in Cades seat :)!!!  (Jessicas dog)

Mowing with Grandpa

My dad loves Cade this much.  Enough that when the little boy begs him to carry him in 100 degree weather...while mowing.  He does.  And he does it with a smile.  And my dad wonders why Cade is a grandpas boy...I dont have any question why.

BBQ at Jamisons

Camdyn driving Cade around...how cute right, that they love to hang out together.  It was short lived.

Anniversary

Im a few weeks behind, again!  But I just had to post about our anniversary so I dont forget many years from now how we spent our 6 year (can not believe its 6 already) anniversary.  We started off by playing 18 holes of golf, which was fun and I was actually not too bad (considering I havnt played in years!).  Then we went to dinner at Tokyo, and had the best sushi and also chicken off the grill.  Then we went to get ice cream at cherry on top - and then to the movie hangover II (which was just ok, not hilarious like the first in my opinion).  All in all it was a great day, we really just had fun hanging out just the two of us.  Its awesome to be a family of four now, but its also so nice to spend some one on one time just being a married couple (of course our kids were in great hands with grandpa and grandma!).  A million things have changed since we first starting dating, but its amazing how when its just the two of us things are so much like they were when we were 17!
